Google Play Store and an error in the update processes

One of the biggest obsessions that some users of the Google Play Store and Android system have is to keep their mobile phones constantly updated. But aside from removing notifications that can be annoying, it is true that this behavior is something very positive since it manages to keep our device up to date and protected from any type of computer attack.
In other words, an update not only offers us new discounts, new features, performance improvements or a map that we did not have in our favorite video game, but also our app is renewed when faced with possible threats. Now, something has happened in recent days in the world of Google Play Store news and has generated discomfort and complaints from users on social networks. According to reports, the Google Play Store has asked users for the last month to update their applications over and over again regardless of whether or not the person did.

What is an update?

All the applications that we have on our mobile phones, or most of them, are programs developed to offer a service, entertainment or a means of communication. In order for these programs to offer the best experience, the companies that produce them are in processes of constant innovation.
Every time we go to our Play Store and then open the My Apps and Games tab we can see which applications we have installed, which need an update and which are in our collection (that is, we have installed them at some point but no longer are part of our mobile phone or tablet).
The programs that we can find in the Updates section are those that have a new version available. At the same time, it is very interesting to give the button that says News so that we can appreciate what has changed in our favorite app to enjoy a better experience as users.

The problem

The complication that has circulated from the discomfort of users on social networks and specialized sites is that when the person enters the My Applications and Games tab, he finds that the Google Play Store asks him to update some applications. Once you are ready to place the order, it happens that the program carries out the action very quickly or does so, and then requests the same procedure again. That is, the application asks to be updated, the user does it, but the action is not registered on the mobile phone that requests the update again and again.
Once the update is finished, the request to perform this procedure appears again and when the versions of the systems installed on the mobile are compared with the supposed "new" it turns out to be the same.
Many of the applications affected by this strange error are those that are part of Google, such as: YouTube, Wear OS, Files, Fit, Gmail, Sheets and Google Docs. Although applications that are from other companies have also been reported.

Second error in the month

The endless cycle of updates is not the only mishap that Google Play Store presents these days. In the past few weeks, a problem arose that reported the disappearance of app images and icons from the application list.  Users who reported the issue through sites like Reddit posted images of the problem and said they were currently using the latest version of the Google Play Store.

Google and Android have always shown signs of excellence in providing services, so any problem that your Play Store presents is a novelty. Both in terms of security and quality in the Google Play Store it is possible to find apps for all tastes regarding news, games, movies, magazines or books.
Since Google and Android have not acknowledged these failures and we are still waiting for them to provide an explanation and an answer. Taking into account the large number of users who echoed this problem, it is possible to expect that the action to give an answer will come soon. At the moment it is good to keep the healthy habit of having all our apps and operating system updated to date in order to enjoy the best experience as customer and keep our system safe.
