Dying Light 2 is an open world RPG set 15 years after the events of the prequel, after the outbreak of the Zombie virus. But this time instead of witnessing the fall of humanity in Harram City, where it takes place, players will live in it.

The main objective of the game is to find the cure for this virus that has wiped out humanity. In an almost extinct world there is a last human settlement, also where they have to survive in the midst of a civil war for power. As if that were not enough, they will also have to fight against the undead who will not stop trying to kill them and with the addition that they are lethal at nightfall.

In this title, the protagonist will be Aiden Caldwell, who has been infected and now has improved abilities such as speed, strength or fighting skills, but remains in a normal state by wearing a bracelet on his forearm, which indicates the level of infection, so it can be exposed to light (sunlight or UV) and prevent it from turning into a zombie. He has the advantage of having great ability in combat and parkour, which will make us see many more movements of this physical discipline.

This pre-infection state gives you those superhuman abilities. During the game, Aiden not only tries to find a way to cure the virus, but also helps the people in Harram by releasing, for example, a reservoir of water, so that people can use it freely.

In this sequel there will also be multiplayer for four players, so you can cooperate with other players and perform various activities, or simply stroll through the streets of a decaying city.

It stands out for its history, all the decisions we make in the game will have consequences, for this we will have to decide many important things that can change the course of the narrative. It evolves depending on the player's decisions, so if you decide not to give them free water, there will be more people killed, more hatred and riots, posing a threat to Harram City. To download Dying Light 2, the game itself is available for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, just like most AAA ratings.

It has some unique features, like the Parkour system, that thanks to you you can roam the streets of the infected city like a Spider-Man, except of course without the nets. They have doubled the number of Parkour points though, so if you find yourself trapped just look up and you should see a rope or somewhere to escape, but you can climb, jump, grab or slide anywhere.

The combat system is enhanced by fully dynamic movement, however, players primarily protect themselves with melee weapons such as machetes or pipes. But, you can upgrade them, and boom, now you have a machete charged with electricity, which, once charged, rips through zombies and turns them to dust.

It has seven very different regions and in which you will find exclusive equipment in each of them, as is usual in zombie-themed video games, these are sensitive to ultraviolet light and UV grenades and flash lights are an excellent way to buy some time while escaping because this light stuns the zombies for a couple of seconds.

As in games and applications of this genre, all melee weapons have a limited useful life and wear out, but there are other long-range weapons such as shotguns, spears and crossbows, which represent a fun element because you are never too old. to hit a zombie with a crossbow on the head.

One of the strengths of Dying Light was the atmosphere of tension created once night fell, when hunters became hunted and surviving the night was a win on your locker. In this sequel it will not be less, adding this pressure even in daylight, where you can find dark areas infected by zombies that will attack you by surprise and you will have to get out of there as quickly as possible or Aiden's infection increases , which would cause his death.
